Evening Segway Tour

Although our Evening Segway Tour shares the same cost and duration as our Day Segway Tour (10am & 2pm), it does differ slightly in route and tour highlights.

The evening tour of San Francisco promises to be a unique and memorable three hour experience. Plan on rolling through an unforgettable evening touring the San Francisco waterfront and watching the sunset behind the Golden Gate Bridge. Along our tour route is Fishermans’ Wharf and all the exciting nautical attractions of this colorful waterfront area. In addition, we will foray into the neighborhood of North Beach for a brief stop at Washington Square Park.  This park is situated in the heart of North beach, the Italian district of San Francisco and is known as the birthplace of the “beat generation.” North Beach is considered by many to be the culinary center of San Francisco, so expect to experience the aromas of garlic, espresso and baking bread to fill the air as we roll along.

Departing Noth Beach, we return to the Embarcadero as our path leads us to the financial district. En route, we will enjoy stunning views of Coit Tower, Alcatraz, and we often encounter the wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. Our destination is an iconic landmark of the San Francisco skyline, the Transamerica Pyramid. Suprisingly, there is a small Redwood grove situated at the base of the Pyramid in the heart of the Financial district. Our return path to Fishermans’ Wharf includes views of the Ferry Building and all the palm trees lit up. As we make the journey back both bridges, Coit Tower and the light house on Alcatraz are illuminated and serve as steady beacons to guide us back to the Wharf. Highlights Include: Fishermans Wharf, Hyde Street Pier, Cable Car Turnaround, Washinton Square Park, Levi Plaza, The Transamerica Building, Redwood Grove, The Embarcadero and Ferry Building.

This three hour tour is recommended for participants 16 years of age and older.
