  • City Segway Tours in Munich just rock!!

    In April 2011 we had a wonderful time touring with Freddy James, the red Aussie, a very, very nice guy and guide, in Munich! Great city, really beautiful, and riding the Segway on the streets and the English Garten was fantastic!! Plus, we had also the honor of meeting Tex, who is the greatest guy, and did us a big favor when we need a hand! You guys at CitySegwayTours in Munich just rock!! Keep on with the great job!     I and my two children had a great day with Tex. From the introduction to the Segway until the end, it was a pure blast. Tex, with his humorous explanations and easy going attitude and with another 5 participants we enjoyed a fabulous tour. Thumbs up for Tex. Would recommend to anyone as a MUST during your visit of Munich. Thank you !!!

  • Outstanding Tour

    We signed on for a four hour tour of Munich with Tex. The three in our group were the only ones to show our day, so it was like a private tour! Tex spent the first 30 minutes teaching us to ride Segways and letting us get comfortable on them; then we were off! What a great day!!! Riding the Segway was extremely fun, and a wonderful way to get all around town! Tex had a great grasp of Muich city history and geography. He was informative, fun, and entertaining. This is one of the best tours we have done in years!!! Thanks Tex!!

  • By far the best and most entertaing city tour I've ever been on!

    I want a Segway!

    After a good training session, we found how easy and fun a Segway is to ride/drive. We all started off a bit wobbly but we were soon pushing the 20kph top speed with huge grins on our faces.
    We got to see the city of Munich in a completely different way. Train or tram is restrictive and walking is distance limiting - with a Segway you get to see the whole historical city in 4 hours, and you can stop when you want. We found that we gelled as a group quickly and we were even a tourist attraction ourselves.

    Our Ozzie tour guide, Freddie gave us a fabulous potted history at each point with embelishments. Who'd have thought that the history of Bavaria could be told in such a funny way? I reckon if he'd been my school history teacher I might have been more interested in the topic.

  • Fantastic Tour with Fun Guide

    We did the morning tour with Freddie and had a great time. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and funny which is important on a four hour tour. We covered a lot of ground and had plenty of time to take photos at each place unlike other segway tours i've been on. Freddy had a lot of historical knowledge mixed in with jokes and anecdotes that kept us all entertained. Highly recommend!

    MARRIETTE, September 27 City Segway Tour:

    Thanks for a great day out in the rain. My father Sten (Stein as you nicknamed him) age 70 really enjoyed the Segway and your guiding. This was by far the best tour we have ever been on and we would recommend it to anyone. Before I was worried that my father would find it hard to master the Segway, but after just a few seconds it looked like he had done this his entire life. Again, a really big thanks for the enthusiastic tour and thanks for the uploaded pictures. They are appreciated.

  • I will recommend your tours

    Hey Buddies I would like to thank you for that great Segway tour that we had last Friday 3.sep.2010 morning. My group leader was Carissa and she has done her job very well. My other working colleges who were in the other groups were happy as well with their tour guides. I will recommend your tours to my friends in Switzerland ;-)

  • Great Insight and Wit

    We took the tour on Friday 7th August and had an amazing time, nearly as good as sex. Marriette was fantastic with great insight and wit, just what a tour guide should be. I have been to Berlin a number of times and saw and heard on this tour stuff that was new, informative and fun. The Segway experience is something that any and all visitors should experience and I for one will be back next year. See you then.

  • So fun and interesting

    Hello! We just wanted to tell you how great we thought the segway tour was! Now we had to see what other cities there are Segways. And guess what…. We’ve decided that next trip will be Vienna - cause there’s a Segway tour there :) Thanks to Carissa that made this tour so fun and interesting.   • A really great, great experience

    We middle-aged adults agreed to a Segway tour only for the kids’ sake—since we‘d been dragging them thru museums—but in the end, we adults had as extraordinary a time as they did. This tour, led by Walid, is really a great, great experience. Walid is a truly exceptional tour guide—both careful and thoughtful as a Segway instructor, and articulate, entertaining, witty, wise, well-informed, outspoken, and insightful as a teacher and guide. Walid really knows this city and its often-cruel, always-compelling history, and his presentation is engaging and memorable. One week later and we still quote Walid and include him—and all we learned from him—when we tell people about our trip to Berlin. With thanks

  • Really Great Time

    Thanks for the really great time we had in August. The tour was everything we hoped it would be, informative , fun and an excellent experience, in fact we went on to do the Paris Segway tour as well.
