After guiding thousands of English-speaking tourists through Berlin on Segways, and even more by bike, we decided to return to our touring roots in Munich. With Munich so ideal to explore by Segway, and having originally led hundreds of tours before even leaving Munich for Berlin, we felt it was time to return back to the city of “Gemütlichkeit”.

Our tours provide some of very best in personalized service.  With small group sizes, in-depth safety training, qualified guides, and a tested route you’re sure to have a great time gliding through Munich with us.

Munich has a fantastic public transportation system. Here is the inner-city portion of the metro system downloadable as a .pdf. The “S”-Bahn and “U”-Bahn are for the suburban and urban subway lines underground in the inner city. The higher numbers not prefaced by and “S” or “U” represent the above-ground trams. Remember, our tours meet at our shop just off Karlsplatz (Stachus).

A really great, great experience

We middle-aged adults agreed to a Segway tour only for the kids’ sake—since we‘d been dragging them thru museums—but in the end, we adults had as extraordinary a time as they did. This tour, led by Walid, is really a great, great experience. Walid is a truly exceptional tour guide—both careful and thoughtful as a Segway instructor, and articulate, entertaining, witty, wise, well-informed, outspoken, and insightful as a teacher and guide. Walid really knows this city and its often-cruel, always-compelling history, and his presentation is engaging and memorable.
