Tour Highlights
-
Enjoy Riding a Segway!

Having fun riding the Segway is the name of the game on our "Mini" Afternoon Tour. Your guide will show you the ins and outs of the machine before you take to the sidewalks and tree-lined boulevard of Unter den Linden.
-
Unter den Linden

Unter den Linden is one of Berlin's most famous avenues. Lined with trees and expensive shops it connects the Brandenburg Gate to Museum Island and the location of the old Prussian palace. It's a beautiful ride by Segway, particularly down the middle of the avenue!
-
Brandenburg Gate

Arguably Germany's most famous monument, the Brandenburg Gate served as a backdrop for many of Berlin's most important events: Napoleon's march into Berlin, the division of Berlin during the Cold War, famous speeches (Reagan) and concerts (Hasselhof!), and much more.
-
Bebelplatz

Directly in front of the main building and library of Germany's most prestigious university, this was the site of the Nazi's infamous book-burning on May 10, 1933.
-
Museum Island

This is home to five of Berlin's most famous museums, notably the Pergamon Museum and the Egyptian Museum (now housed in the Neues Museum).
Important Notes
Each of our tours begins with a 30-minute orientation session in the plaza and park next to our office. We will practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Berlin. The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 16 and older. Minors under the age of 18 must either be accompanied by an adult or have an adult complete our insurance paperwork in advance of the tour. Unfortunately, anyone under the age of 16 and pregnant women will not be permitted to participate.
For insurance policy stipulations, we are required to take a EUR 400,- damage deposit per party to cover damages to the Segway. This desposit will be taken by credit card (Visa, MC, or Amex) or cash at the time of the tour and refunded afterwards provided no damage to the Segway has been sustained.
Additionally, City Segway Tours has a strict policy against alcohol consumption and Segway operation. Alcohol is forbidden on all Segway tours and any client suspected of drinking before or during a Segway tour will immediately forfeit their tour and no refund will be given.
